Documentation

A guide to understanding Kantoku's platform.

Introduction

This documentation explains Kantoku and its main capabilities. It is for clients, users, and teams who want to understand how the platform is organized and how to use it. It will continue to be updated as Kantoku evolves.

Kantoku helps teams continuously retrieve, organize, and interpret publicly available external information about their assets, stay aware of meaningful changes, and build the foundation for effective security and compliance oversight, assessment, and automation.

Core Capabilities

Kantoku is organized around two core capabilities.

Asset Intelligence

Asset Intelligence is Kantoku's capability for monitoring internet-facing assets and organizing publicly available external information about them, including exposure, change, and the evidence that helps explain what is happening across domains, public IPs, ports, pages, DNS, certificates, similar domains, and related signals. Events and findings help teams understand the results of those observations and identify what deserves attention.

Security & Compliance Program

This platform section covers security and compliance work at a high level. It includes areas such as assessments, engagements, trust pages, and related governance workflows.

Superviso is the dedicated application used by each company to run that work in practice. It is where teams manage operational processes such as policies, identities, accesses, frameworks, controls, evidence documents, risks, exceptions, incidents, third parties, and information assets.

Security and Data Handling

Kantoku is built with security and privacy in mind. These principles shape how the platform is designed and operated. Data handling is approached with care for integrity, controlled access, and minimizing unnecessary exposure, so teams can work with confidence in the information they depend on.
